Week 4- Manifesto by Jhadai McDonald

PROCRASTINATE ON PROCRASTINATION

Sunday night, 11:59pm...
The days never get longer, or at least that's what I like not to think.

"So maybe I'll do some of it tonight and then some-"
"Nah...."
I think I've got time!

Above is a classic train of thought that I host in my mind,
I dibble and dabble out of reasoning on whether or not I should...
PROCRASTINATE.

However, not anymore!

I will start paying attention in class, regardless of that urge to check what new Snapchat filter came out,
Then, proceeding to try it out.
I will not go back-and-forth with the professor-
Even if they are brainwashing us and I clearly am the only sane one left.

I will complete the assignments given by these brainwashing robots and complete it on time!
And despite my superior memorizing skills, I will study.

I am not going to trip into class late, unprepared, and carrying food in my hands instead of books anymore.
I will... STUDY!
Never again will I search the room dumb-founded not knowing there was a quiz.

And after bombing the first three questions, leaving to take selfies in a nearby restroom.

I am a changed woman,
Now focused on getting work done on time,
Especially because this is due at 12:00am on Monday.
But, I have time!

I will NOT be that student anymore,
Marvin asked for the role.
