Stephanie Zavala-Vega Week 5 Analysis

I am addressing how easy it is to forget about our surroundings, who is watching, where we are (etc). It has become so easy and customary to follow a routine, a structure of how your day is going to be and what you can expect from it. Predictability. Everyone wants to achieve this unique-ness and it is true we have different ideals/moral codes/problems but the constant of our world around us makes our predictable schedules, unpredictable. I was interested in taking pictures of just different settings  I have come across, limited to what I thought looked aesthetically pleasing. I used iMovie on my mac and my iPhone camera, I did not end up editing the pictures just cropping them enough to fit nicely (some are just awkward) but they are taken with he HDR feature on iPhone cameras. Some have natural lighting like in the day photos and the night photos are used with enough light in the surroundings like street lamps. Lighting is a great tool in how these images can be processed or contextualized and I enjoy the whole idea of electricity, no one ever wants to be in the darkness, there is some light source, some may even take for granted the sunlight as the main reason for the conditioning of light as an aid instead of a reason for life, entirely. I learned that a simple photo with enough thought can be made important and into a piece of thought, in whatever setting, and for whoever, generating this idea of importance in what you do instead of caring about the end result to this big idea that can solve the worlds problem is enough to spark some inner question.
